B. Borooah College is an institute of higher education in Guwahati city of Assam. B. Borooah College offers Two years Higher Secondary (10+2) course, Three Year Degree Course, M.Sc. in Chemistry and several vocational courses. B. Borooah college was founded by Gopinath Bordoloi, the first chief Minister of Assam, in the year 1943. It was named after Bholanath Borooah. Gopinath Bordoloi rendered his services as the Founder President of Governing Body and Principal of B. Borooah College. Today, the college has an well-developed campus with facilities like full-equipped classrooms, library, laboratories, hostels, canteen etc.
