BTAD is the acronym of Bodoland Territorial Area Districts (BTAD). BTAD refers to the area under the jurisdiction of Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) in Assam. Created under the sixth schedule of the Constitution of India, BTAD consists of 4 districts — Kokrajhar, Baksa, Udalguri and Chirang. These districts were carved out of seven existing districts of Assam — Kokrajhar, Bongaigaon, Nalbari, Barpeta, Kamrup, Sonitpur and Darrang. The current capital of BTAD is Kokrajhar.

BTAD is a very beautiful place.I had the opportunity to stay for few days in NTPC campus.I went outside the campus of NTPC and roamed around.It was very pleasant to see and feel the green and lush landscape.I have fallen in love with this place.

India Government they ignored our bodoland because they don’t want to dominant by the bodo in BTAD. we are tribal in Bodoland. we have a birth right. bodo peoples must know deffrent between tribel or nontribel Bodoland Government should not give the job vacancy for Non tribel. first bodo n last non tribel
we should create a dominant state like Arunachal .nagaland
