Rabha Hasong Autonomous Council (RHAC) is an autonomous administrative area within Assam state of India. It was formed under the Rabha Hasong Autonomous Council Act of 1995. The autonomous council was established through a state legislation for socio-economic, educational and cultural advancement of the Rabha tribe.

Jurisdiction of Rabha Hasong Autonomous Council includes almost entire Goalpara district, excluding Balijan, Lakhipur and Matia revenue circles; and Rani in Kamrup district. It covers discontinuous satellite areas and Rabha Hasong village councils in areas with not more than 50% tribal population. Headquarters of the council is located at Dudhnoi of Goalpara district. As per the Rabha Hasong Autonomous Council Act, the General Council consists of 40 members out of which 36 are directly elected.

    Today at Jarapara LP school a meeting was held under Boko Bongaon jatiya Rabha Parikhad.how d rabha peole can develope or improve their socio -economic condition,;what responsibility dey should mantain to remove poverty;what will be d role of educated people to remove bad culture like driking alchohol too much,-these were main points of discussion.Speechers gave importance on the role of Rabha Jatiya Parisad since its born and they have confidence that the Parisad may help in the developement of socio -economic condition of Rabha people.dey also have mentioned that throuh education Rabha people will know about political rights of d tribes which are in d indian constitution.dey strongly demandded on six schedule which will help the rabha people to run their self rule.

    RHAC is formed basically for the devlpmnt of our rava peoples lacking behing and our culture and also the peoples residing within the administrative area.its good to see that RHAC is devloping without any communal discrimination..
