Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has released the 2015 APSC Combined Competitive Examination notification. This time, there are a total of 124 vacancies in following Government services or posts: Assam Civil Service, Assam Land and Revenue Service, Assistant Registrar of Co-operative Societies, Labour Inspector, Inspector of Taxes and Inspector of Excise.

Total 30 posts in ACS (Junior Grade) category and 60 posts in Assam Land and Revenue Service (Jr. Grade). Other vacancies include 25 Inspector of Taxes, 6 Labour inspector,  2 Inspector of Excise and 1 Assistant Reg. of Co-op societies. Out of the 124 posts, 4 are reserved for persons with disabilities (orthopaedically disabled and hearing impaired).

• Total reserved posts for ST (P): 17

• Fees: Rs. 100 (Rs. 50 for SC and ST category).
• Eligibility: Graduate from Assam
• Age limit: 21 – 38 years (relaxable upto 5 years)

The APSC CCE examination pattern remains same. That means no CSAT type question paper in APSC CCE 2015 Prelims. As usual there will be two papers in Prelims – General Knowledge and a optional subject of your choice.   I tried to upload my photo and signature while filling the CCE exam application form, but it says all the time photo and sign must be clear.
  Has anyone faced the same problem?
  Should I submit it that way I am afraid of further rejection.

  @mandira,
  Assam Civil Service exam or APSC CCE recruitment is dependent on vacancies. The amount of posts changes every year. For example: there are no DTO or APS posts this year and Assam Land & Revenue Service is a new arrival! If your target is Assam Police Service, appear in CCE 2015 and get your feet wet. Even if you get selected, you can apply next year.

  Sir why this time there is no posts for APS (Assam Police Service) ? What about those aspirants who are preparing to join APS ? And I am one of them.

  How to prepare for APSC job. Please guide me. I am a fresh graduate and this one will be my first attempt. Please refer me some books, question papers.
