The Combined Competitive Exam (Prelims) conducted by Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) consists of two question papers. The first question paper is General Studies. The following is the full and new General Studies syllabus for APSC Civil Service Exam (Prelims) 2013.

1. Indian Polity.
2. Political System in India.
3. Indian Economy.
4. Planning Process in India.
5. History of India and Assam.
6. Geography of India, Assam & World.
7. Role of Science and Technology in India.
8. Culture and Literature of Assam, India and World.
9. Indian National Movement with special reference to Assam.
10. Current events of National and International importance.
11. General Mental Ability.

  Sir.
  Can I please precisely know the syllabus for General Studies in preliminary.
  I mean I know all the syllabus but the thing is that to which level shall I prepare , Assam level or national level.
  eg.Polity ,history,geography and many more so , here I must be concerned to Assam history,Assam geography, Assam polity or Indian Geography, Indian polity,Indian history.
  I would be pleased if I make myself clear on this very doubt.
