Basugaon Town – Chirang, Assam
Basugaon is a town and a town area committee in Assam. It is located at Chirang district of Assam. As per 2001 India Census, Basugaon had a population 12440. National Highway 37 connects Basugaon with other parts of the state, while National Highway 31 connects the town with the rest of India. Basugaon also has a railway station under the Northeast Frontier Railway. The Basugaon Station is the nearest station for New Bongaigaon Junction.
