Laokhowa Wildlife Sanctuary, Assam
The Laokhowa Wildlife Sanctuary is famous for it’s “One Horned Rhino”. This sanctuary is situated in the Nagaon district of Assam. The total area covered by this sanctuary is 70.13 sq. km. Other attractions in this sanctuary are Wild Buffalo, Swamp Deer, Slow Loris, Elephant and various species of birds. The distance of this sanctuary from the Nagaon town is about 25 km. Once can get various vehicles in Nagaon to go to this sanctuary.
