The Sonai-Rupai Wildlife Sanctuary is situated in the Sonitpur district of Assam. The sanctuary is situated in the foothills of Himalaya and some very beautiful and rare wildlife are found there. The scenic beauty of this sanctuary is uncomparable. It covers an area of 220 sq. km. The prime attractions list includes Indian Bison, Hog Deer, Tiger, Elephant, variety of birds and rare orchids.
